This was especially the case for the Crusaders who were entering the fields of battle almost daily. This is The Accolade Dagger of the Knights Templar, a functional dagger decorated to fit a higher-ranking Knight Templar. The blade is made out of 1080 high carbon steel, a material with higher carbon content which makes it durable and tough when used for cutting.
The blade has an unsharpened ricasso near the guard with the seal of the Knights Templar. Each of the fittings has been plated in sterling silver. The crossguard is narrowed toward the blade, and the one-handed handle is bound in soft leather with wire wrapping accommodating a very firm grip.
This dagger comes with its own leather sheath that has been enriched with two silver-plated crosses. It also comes with a leather thong that can secure the dagger to the user or any type of belt.
