Although mainly associated with the Scottish arsenal of weapons, its design, which was very practical for puncturing through mail and plate armor, led to its widespread use. It eventually evolved into the iconic Scottish Dirk, still carried with traditional attire today. This dagger is made from 1566 high carbon steel, very durable and tough, as were the historical versions.
The handle is made of wood (dudgeon), and the small guards sticking out are of stainless steel. This dagger comes with its own leather scabbard, stitched at the back and equipped with a belt loop for easier carriage.
